Zero Balancing
What is Zero Balancing?
Zero Balancing uses finger pressure and held stretches
to encourage the release of tension accumulated deep within the body.
It addresses the deepest structure of the body. This enables energy
and physical structure to be harmonised.
How can Zero Balancing Help?
The deep sense of harmony created by Zero Balancing encourages
natural healing processes. It is useful in treating a wide range of
ailments including the following:
Stress Reduction
Zero Balancing is an effective way to deal with stress.
It enables energy to flow smoothly through the body structures.
Body Pain
Illness, accidents or emotional, mental or spiritual problems
can block or weaken energy flow which can lead to pain. Zero Balancing
allows specific areas of pain to be addressed.
Flexibility and Posture
Zero Balancing focusses on the joints that transmit the
forces through the weight-bearing skeleton. It works to harmonise the
way these relate to each other
Reparative Touch
Trauma, abuse or prolonged physical pain can distort our
natural response to touch. Zero Balancing provides a respectful connection
to annother through which physical touch becomes non threatening.
Personal Process/ Mental Healing
Personal development may be impeded by mental habits and
patterns of emotional response which are not helpful. Zero Balancing
can enable a connection with your essential self by erasing these obstacles.
What happens during a Zero Balancing session?
Zero Balancing lasts for twenty to forty minutes and is
hands-on, conducted through clothes with the recipient lying on his/her
back. It is common for recipients to feel more centered in their body
and relaxed after the first session. It is recommended to have three
sessions and then assess how often it would be useful to recieve the
therapy - some people only have sessions during transisions in their
lives or when they want to be at their best.
Note
Zero Balancing is not an alterantive to medical health
care and is not designed for acutely ill or disturbed people. It is
also inappropriate immediately after surgery or bone fractures as sufficient
time has to occur before Zero Balancing can be effective.
